Kelly Thawley Wins Young Professional of the Year Award
Kelly Thawley, assistant director of Workforce Recruitment & Scholarships in the Division of Workforce Education at FSW was recently awarded the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year Award.
Thawley is responsible for advancing workforce development initiatives and manages various scholarship programs to support student success. She is dedicated to helping students discover their passions, providing training and education opportunities, collaborating with local partners, and connecting students to the SWFL workforce.
In addition to her role at FSW, Thawley serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s Foundation. She is also deeply committed to inspiring young mothers in the foster care system to overcome barriers and fulfill their true potential by serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors for Our Mother’s Home.
Her dedication and hard work have been recognized with several accolades, including Gulfshore Business’ 40 Under 40 award in 2022 and being a member of SWFL Inc.’s Leadership Class of 2020.
