Hendry Glades Student Government President recognized as the SGA Student of the Month by the Florida College System Activities Association

Congratulations to Aliana Alvarez, our FSW Student Government President on Hendry Glades, for being recognized as the Student Government Association Student of the Month by the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA). Aliana has quickly revitalized SGA at the Hendry-Glades Center since she transitioned into her role as president last month. Her dedication to recruitment and community engagement is evident through initiatives like making back-to-school goody bags, leading informational sessions with all the collegiate high schools in the Hendry & Glades area, and her strategic use of social media for promotion. Aliana’s leadership has already expanded SGA’s membership, showcasing her commitment to fostering a vibrant student community.
