FSW Student Leaders Make An Impact!

This year’s Florida College Systems Student Government Association (FCSSGA) Leadership Conference, hosted at the HCC Dale Mabry campus, was a tremendous success, and FSW’s SGA made a powerful impact! Two of our own, Ariana Arias and Allison Lagunes, helped organize and run the event as State Executive Board members. During the Region 4 Retreat, Lee SGA President Destiny Sanchez and Vice President Sharjeel Malik showcased their skills by leading an engaging team-building activity. They also presented an interactive breakout session on Discovering Similarities and Differences.

Our SGA Advisors, Gabrielly Cordon-Ayala and Michael Mears, presented breakout sessions on Leading Change with The Student Leadership Challenge and Social Responsibility (respectively). Special shoutout to our Collier SGA President Rhode Calixte and Charlotte SGA Vice President Sean Cunningham, who earned their FCSSGA Leadership Training (FLT) wings. Way to represent, FSW!
