Spring deadlines for FSW’s Limited Access Programs are approaching! Explore programs that match your interests and goals below.

Nursing, BS
Spring Semester Start — Applications due by Dec. 1

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at FSW is an online RN-to-BSN pathway created for registered nurses aiming to advance their careers. The curriculum includes key areas such as leadership, informatics, community health, and research, offered through flexible online classes.

*Deadlines may be extended if seats remain unfilled to capacity by the application deadline.

Nursing, AS
The Spring 2025 application deadline is currently closed.
The deadline to apply for the Fall 2025 semester is May 15, 2025.

The Associate in Science in Nursing (ASN) program at FSW prepares students to become licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) through a combination of classroom instruction, labs, simulations, and clinical experiences.

Cardiovascular Technology, AS
Applications are accepted from January through May 31.

The AS in Cardiovascular Technology program combines general education, specialized coursework, and clinical practicums to prepare students for careers assisting cardiologists in diagnosing and treating heart conditions.

Advanced Medical Assisting, AS
Applications are open until the cohort is filled.

The AS Degree in Advanced Medical Assisting prepares students for clinical and administrative roles in healthcare through coursework and hands-on training. Graduates are eligible for certifications such as CMA, CCMA, and CPT.

Physical Therapist Assistant Program, AS
Applications open from May 1 through Sep. 15.

Located at FSW’s Charlotte Campus, the Physical Therapist Assistant Program prepares students to assist physical therapists in rehabilitating patients with musculoskeletal and/or neuromuscular deficits, injuries, diseases, or disorders.

Health Information Technology, AS
Applications are accepted year-round for the Fall and Spring semesters.

The Associate of Science in Health Information Technology (HIT) degree equips students with the expertise and knowledge to manage health information across various healthcare settings.

Radiologic Technology, AS
Applications will be open from Jan. 15 through April 30.

The AS in Radiologic Technology at FSW is a program that combines classroom instruction with extensive clinical laboratory experience. The curriculum focuses on medical imaging equipment and human anatomy.

Dental, AS
Applications will be open from Sep. 1 through Dec. 15 for Fall 2025

The AS in Dental Hygiene at FSW prepares students to become licensed dental hygienists. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the state board exam required to obtain licensure.

Respiratory Care, AS
Applications will be open from January 2025 through May 31, 2025.

The AS in Respiratory Care trains students in pulmonary testing, ventilation, and patient education, leading to careers like Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and ACCS specialist.

Cardiopulmonary Sciences, BS
Spring Semester Start —
Application due by Dec. 1
Summer Semester Start —
Application due by April 1

The fully online BS in Cardiopulmonary Sciences at FSW is for certified RRTs, RCISs, or RDCSs, offering courses on professional healthcare issues, legal, and ethical topics.

Fire Science Technology, AS
Application open Feb. 1 through March 31, 2025.

FSW’s online AS in Fire Science Technology is for certified firefighters and those advancing in fire science, with 6-week courses for fire service professionals.

Emergency Medical Technology, AS
Summer applications at the Lee Campus are open from
Feb. 1-28.

The AS in Emergency Medical Technology prepares students for EMT and paramedic careers through three components: EMT Basic Certificate, Paramedic Certificate, and AS degree.
