Exciting updates are coming to how we structure our academic terms — and we want you to be in the know before registration opens for Fall 2025. Starting this fall, FSW is introducing a rebranded set of clearer, more flexible term options designed to better fit our students’ needs and learning styles.

What’s New?

• Standard Term — Traditional 16-week semester.
• Express Term — Faster-paced, 12-week option.
• Compact Terms (Mini-A & Mini-B) — Focused 8-week sessions.

Why the Change? This update simplifies term choices, making it easier for students to select the schedule that fits their lives, especially for our online learners and working students. It also gives faculty and staff a clearer framework to help students understand their options.
