Charlotte County Teens Can Get Future Ready This Summer at FSW

Charlotte County students looking to make the most of their summer can explore future careers, build confidence, and develop real-world skills through Florida SouthWestern State College’s Future Ready: Teen Camp at the FSW Charlotte Campus July 20–24.

Designed for rising ninth through twelfth graders, the weeklong camp offers an engaging college experience where students can discover potential career paths while learning alongside FSW faculty and industry professionals. Through interactive workshops, hands-on activities, guest speakers, and collaborative projects, participants gain valuable skills that can help prepare them for college and future careers.

Future Ready: Teen Camp introduces students to a variety of high-demand fields, including health sciences, business and entrepreneurship, technology and coding, communications, SAT preparation, and college readiness. The program encourages creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation while helping students identify interests that may shape their academic and professional futures.

More than a summer camp, Future Ready serves as a launchpad for students who want to explore possibilities beyond the classroom. Participants have the opportunity to gain practical experience, strengthen leadership skills, and connect with peers who share similar interests in a supportive college environment.
