APO’s Chartering Ceremony
On Nov. 22, FSW’s Alpha Phi Omega (APO) chapter proudly celebrated its official chartering with an unforgettable ceremony and gala. The event marked the culmination of months of hard work and dedication from 34 students and 7 advisors, as we officially became the Alpha Theta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity.
The evening featured a private initiation ceremony, inspiring speeches from members and advisors, and a celebratory reception. APO National President Melody Martin presented the official charter to FSW’s Deputy Chief of Staff and Strategic Initiatives, Dr. Ian Heuhard, in a moment that symbolized the chapter’s commitment to service, fellowship, and leadership.
The charter, bearing the names of the founding members, now hangs proudly in the LEADS Center in Q 127, serving as a lasting reminder of this historic achievement and the legacy we aim to build for future APO members at FSW.
We’re excited to continue growing and making an impact as an official chapter of Alpha Phi Omega!
